Description
Perfect glide
Pure polished PTFE material gives your gaming mouse an unrivaled level of glide.
Precision and control
The use of Teflon feet provides full control over the movement of the mouse on the working surface. Both with sweeping movements and with minimal mouse movement. It is now easier to achieve maximum cursor precision.
Finished edge
All skates are finished on the outer edge. The absence of sharp corners ensures smooth mouse movement and reduces the necessary lapping time at the beginning of use.
High quality materials
Only 100% pure PTFE material is used in the production of glides. As well as specially selected glue, which ensures reliable fixation of glides, and no residue removal.
High resource
The thickness of the material is selected individually for each mouse model in such a way as to provide the maximum resource of use, without violating the usual lift-off distance of the sensor.
Restoring Smooth Glide: Glides for Dell Alienware AW Mice
Dell’s gaming mice in the Alienware AW series feature thoughtful design, enabling users to operate the devices for extended periods without discomfort. The mechanical switches are highly durable, and the sensitive optical sensors provide impressive responsiveness. The Alienware AW610M Wireless glides made of 100% Teflon make the accessories maneuverable and easy to control.
When Replacement Feet are Needed
The lifespan of the pads depends on the intensity of use and the type of surface: they wear out faster on a glass mat than on a fabric one. Thinned skates slide poorly, affecting the level of control and tracking accuracy. The need to replace Alienware 510M RGB glides may also arise if the device has been repaired. Screws are located under the stickers, so opening the casing is impossible without removing them. The feet are easily damaged, and reapplying them evenly is challenging.
Installing new Teflon feet for the Alienware AW310M mouse gives the gamer:
- Improved sliding;
- Comfortable mouse movement;
- Enhanced cursor aiming accuracy;
- Extended manipulator lifespan.
Feet: Materials and Manufacturing Features
The replacement Alienware Elite AW959 glides are made in the same shape as the originals, simplifying their installation into the slots and requiring no additional tools from the player. Polytetrafluoroethylene is used for the stickers. This material has a low friction coefficient—less than 0.06 µm. The feet are additionally polished around the edges to eliminate sharp angles. Thanks to this technology, the products glide perfectly smoothly right after replacement.
The thickness of the Alienware Elite AW958 mouse feet does not exceed 1 mm—a parameter necessary to maintain the factory lift-off height of the sensor from the mat. This also helps increase the working lifespan of the skates. Specially selected adhesive ensures strong fixation of the pads to the bottom of the casing and leaves no residue after removal.
To replace the feet for the Alienware AW720M mouse, it only takes a few minutes. First, the old feet are removed, and the surface underneath them is cleaned of adhesive residues. Then, the installation area is wiped with an alcohol pad and dried with a cloth material. After that, the new products are placed in the slots, and the manipulator is pressed firmly against a flat surface for half a minute.
